Peninsula Lakes - Let's Do Trivia Blurb - 10/19/22

Peninsula Lakes: Guest hosting for this month's game in Long Neck. We had a fantastic group of friendly and engaging teams. Newbies + One were first out of the blocks, taking the OTB extra point, but unfortunately tripped and fell as the rest of the pack ran past. *draw a Thigh Master on the Round 2/Question 1 response for bonus points* It was a close match with several teams battling for the top spot. At Halftime, Second Wind and Trivia Friends Of PLK shared the lead over Team X-Ray and Newbies + One. Second Wind and Trivia Friends Of PLK continued to run neck and neck throughout much of the second half, with Trivia Friends Of PLK eeking out a slight advantage as we entered the Final Bonus. Only one team correctly answered the Final Bonus, scoring the victory! Final Results: 1) Team X-Ray 2) Trivia Friends Of PLK 3) Second Wind 4) Newbies + One

Peninsula Lakes Blurb 4/20/22

It was great to be back and we had an awesome crowd out to play some trivia. The teams were off to a fast start this week getting questions correct left and right. It was almost too much to keep up with, but somehow I managed. After the halftime question it was a 3 way tie at the top and only a couple points separate first from last.   The second half there was some shifting in the ranking, but the teams really were doing a great job. Going into the final question it was Poolside with a narrow lead. The final question was about public service mascots and it was pretty tough, one team came up with the correct answer though and they were the ones to come out with the win, That was Friends 2.   For a bonus 3 points in round 2 question 1 draw me a picture of a shoe   Here is your top 5   5-Back Row 4-Troublemakers 3-Two G's 2-Poolside 1-Friends 2

BLURB - Peninsula Lakes - 3/16/22

Another fun night and since it was daylight savings I finally saw everyone on the light of day. The first half is normally close and tonight was the same. After the halftime question it was Peninsula Prodigy in the lead with Friends 3 right on their heels.   The second half we had a couple missteps but the teams still kept it close all the way up to the final question making it anyone’s game. Going into the final it was still the Peninsula Prodigy with the lead.
